WHO IS IN THE DMZ?
The DMZ has a constituency: participants in and visitors to the festival, people living and working locally,
those active in media arts practice across the city or simply interested in getting experience of or further involvement
in creative and critical uses of technology and media. Everyone is invited to attend the event, join in with the many and
varied activities, engage with its exhibits, contribute, question, and discuss just what it is to co-exist in the DMZ.
Who has put together the DMZ festival? DMZ has several stakeholders, those who have conceived and initiated the festival and
who will be present during the two days, running the event and helping you to navigate the space.
The DMZ stakeholders are Mute Magazine, MAP,
Digital Guild, SPC, Film London and The Arts Council London. There are 11 commisioned participants exhibiting media arts
projects in the DMZ, each featured in this publication. Additional contributions are also being made on an ad hoc basis and
all are invited to roll up during the event and plug-in their project or talk about their work.
